We have designed and scheduled brand new programmes to support the development of Modern Team Leaders and Operations Managers.
Both programmes are being launched later this year, so act now to register an interest in these programmes which we anticipate will be very popular.
Modern Team Leader
Team leaders are responsible for managing their team to ensure performance levels are maintained. But they also need to lead their teams, and this means stretching them into new ways of thinking and performing. This is not easy for those who would prefer to ‘maintain’ the team as-is, but employers need more than maintenance!
This programme recognises the need for management skills such as allocating work, setting targets and maintaining performance, but it also seeks to develop leadership skills of developing and improving staff and systems and processes and performance levels etc.. Continuous improvement is a core attribute of the modern team leader, and this programme develops these skills.
Learners will achieve the Level 3 Improvement Technician Standard. They will also achieve an embedded qualification, ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management Skills.
Modern Operations Manager
Process leaders direct various production activities and operations to achieve success against a range of production KPIs. They lead and manage teams in a variety of settings, including high volume manufacturing, engineering and/or smaller production operations.
This programme focusses on the wide range of skills needed by the process leader, includes leading and managing their team; continuously hitting and surpassing production KPIs; managing quality and continuous improvements, and running improvement projects. Process leaders must also manage in the organisation and align to company goals, manage finance performance and health and safety.
Learners will achieve the Level 4 Process Leader Standard. They will also achieve an embedded qualification, ILM Level 5 Certificate in Operational Leadership and Management Skills.
